Water Water Everywhere?

Well this time last year we were complaining about how much rain we got and couldn’t  get anything done… BUT.. not this year, quite the opposite.    HOWEVER we’re not ready to throw in the towel just yet.  To keep our horses on green grass as long as possible, we scrounged together and came up with a field irrigation system!!  It’s not perfect, and cannot cover nearly our whole farm, but it should greatly help keep our fields going as long as possible with this drought.   Between four fields we are delivering nearly 4,600 gallons of water  per hour from near-by ponds (this way it does not affect the local water table but will also help with stagnant water, as flow rates  are down since there is currently no rain to cause runoff)
